METHOD OF GROWING THE ORIENTAL BUNIAS IN HOMOTYPICAL GRASS STANDS AS A METHOD TO CONTROL SOIL EROSION ON SLOPES

The invention relates to a method to control soil erosion on slopes including the preparation of the soil to sowing, applying fertilizers and growing a perennial crop of the oriental bunias. A method is based on the use of the particulation phenomenon, so-called biological soil slotting, in particular forming natural slots in the soil due to the particulates of the root system of the oriental bunias that prevents the eroded soils on the slopes from washing out by streaming down flows and rain ones and allows prolonging the period of the economic use of the eroded lands up to 8-10 years without significant labour inputs.
