The present invention can be used in simulators designed for training vehicle operators. The proposed automated electromechanical device for simulating the operating platform of the vehicle operator in training with a simulator contains a base plate, which consists of several flexible sections, electromechanical actuators, for example the actuators with linear motors, and a control unit. The actuators are coupled with the corresponding sections of the base plate and displace the sections relative to each other, according to the output signals of the control unit, for reproducing the profile of the operating platform of the vehicle operator. The proposed devise provides a possibility to simulate operating platforms of various vehicles using a single simulator. As a result, the functionality of the simulator is extended.
