TECHNIQUE FOR ANULOPLASTY IN UMBILICAL HERNIAS IN CHILDREN

The invention relates to the medicine, in particular to the surgery. The method for treating the umbilical hernia in the children is described. The method consists in performing periumbilical access, administering 0.5% solution of Novocain to the extraperitoneal fat, and applying square-topped sutures through the aponeurotic edge of the hernial gates without opening the hernial sac. The periumbilical access is performed from supraumbilical and subumbillcal incision along linea alba.
