PORTABLE TEST BENCH FOR FIRE TESTING OF ROCKET ENGINES UNDER FIELD CONDITIONS

The invention relates to testing engineering. A portable stand for fire testing of rocket engines in field conditions has unit for installation and fixation of testing engine, force indicator and measurement-registration equipment. The force indicator is connected to the front (bottom) section of the engine by means of transition unit and is electrically connected to amplifier-transformer. According to the invention, the appliance for installation and fixation of testing engine is arranged as stand with holder pipe mounted with respect to the base of the stand on prescribed distance with possibility of placement of force indicator, and with possibility of installation of testing engine in the pipe with nozzle section upward, with prescribed gap and with possibility of centering it at the nozzle section by means of springy gaskets, and at the bottom one - by means of spherical head of the tip of transition unit resting on the hole of springy force-receiving element of force indicator. This invention provides increase of reliability of the stand, of safety and ease in operation, and prevention of side vibrations from transverse loads and sudden (not permitted) operation of the engine being tested.
