Mating disruption or attraction and pest control of the Brazilian apple leaf roller, using the sexual pheromone (E,Z)-3,5-dodecadienyl acetate

A combination of (E,Z)-3,5-dodecadienyl acetate and at least one behavior synergist is used for pest control by mating disruption or attraction and death. Use of the principle sexual pheromone (E,Z)-3,5-dodecadienyl acetate in combination with one or more behavior synergists for the control and/or registration of the Brazilian apple leaf roller, Bonagota cranaodes, by mating disruption or attraction and death is new. Independent claims are also included for: (1) use of the principle sexual pheromone (E,Z)-3,5-dodecadienyl acetate in combination with one or more synergists for the detection and/or registration of the Brazilian apple leaf roller, Bonagota cranaodes, using traps; (2) the pheromone synergist (Z)-5-dodecenyl acetate; and (3) the pheromone synergist (E,Z)-3,5-tetradecadienyl acetate.
