System comprises aqueous hydration liquid and powdered material. The binder phase of material comprises calcium-based cement system, and has capacity to saturate with liquid reacting with binder phase to hydrate to chemically bonded ceramic material. The powdered material has component (A) for formation of organic phase in ceramic material, and hydration liquid has component (B) for formation of organic phase. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) Powdered material; (2) Aqueous hydration liquid; (3) Chemically bonded ceramic material; (4) Method for producing ceramic material; and (5) Device for storing powdered material and mixing with hydration liquid.
