The expected fuel feed pressure is derived on the basis of a pre-determined relationship between the actual engine revolution speed and the fuel flow at this speed and then corrected to take into account the difference between the actual fuel temperature and the given fuel temperature used in the equation for calculating expected fuel feed pressure, before the pressure difference between the expected and actual fuel feed pressure is derived.
