Motor drive arrangement for raked vertical bar screen, carries motor and drive wheel on opposite ends of pivoted rocker section

The upper drive wheel (11) for the rake conveyor, is held on a rocker (26) pivoted on the frame (4), and is located to one side of the pivot point (28) of the rocker section. The motor (24) is fitted to the rocker on the other side of the rocker pivot point (28). A drive wheel (20) is fitted to the motor shaft (23), to turn the upper wheel (11) through a transmission. Rocker sections with corresponding fittings are arranged on both sides of the frame, with their centers of gravity in alignment. A carrier joining the rocker arms, holds the drive motor at its center. The upper drive wheels (11) are mounted on sub shafts of the rocker frame (4).
