An upper grinding assembly grinds a condiment when a lower housing (5) is turned relative to an upper housing (4) in a second direction opposite a first direction in a state by which the upper housing is kept still in an upside down position. A lower grinding assembly grinds another condiment when the upper housing is kept in upright position and turned in first direction relative to lower housing. An independent claim is also included for a bifunctional condiment grinding component.
