Improvements introduced in the object of the patent nº 9501068, for "Device for mechanical splicing of bucket elevator bands". To splice the ends of bucket elevator bands (B), two fusiform pieces (1) are provided with a tube-shaped portion (1a) with a flat front part (1b) and a segment-shaped portion of a cylindrical wall segment ( 1c) on which the respective band ends (B) to be spliced are formed in a loop, an intermediate part (7) being provided interposed between said pieces (7) for tight support of the band portions (B), being joined fixedly to each other the mentioned parts (1), the band loops (B) and the intermediate piece (7), with a clamping set formed by semi-spherical counter-supports (2), a through bushing (3) with a centering bolt (4) and two sets of washers and nuts (5,6).
