A disposable article (20) to be adjusted or fixed to a user comprising: (A) a response system that includes, as distinctive components: (i) a detector (60) operatively connected to said article, said detector being intended for detecting an input, and (ii) an actuator (70) operatively connected to said detector, characterized in that said actuator is intended to perform a response function in a discontinuous manner, whereby the response function only takes place when said detector detects an input threshold level and so the response function is independent of the amount of the input exceeded by said input threshold level.
