Use of a compound selected from the group consisting of (ñ) -4- [1- (2, 3-dimethylphenyl) -ethyl] -1H-imidazole-mono-hydrogen, 2- (2, 6-di-chloroanilino) chloride -2-imidazoline or functionally analogous, as an agent for the inhibition of marine biofouling on a solid surface products.
