The cage is made from synthetic materials, e.g. fiberglass, polycarbonate, PVC and acrylic. The cage has a 29.5 centimeter (cm) wide dry part (A), 4 cm wide feeders (3) separated from the posterior and anterior, a 6 cm high side part, and a 30 cm wide wet part (B). Shelters (1,2), each 12 cm wide and 6 cm high, are provided on each side of the cage. The wet part consists of a pool with three water levels: a 4 cm wide and 1.5 cm deep shallow area (4) to each side, a 6 cm wide and 2.5 cm deep deeper area (5) and a 10 cm wide and 5.5 cm deep central area (6).
