The device has a reservoir for heating the combs from which honey is extracted. A sealing unit is provided which is connected to outlet conduit (9). The extracted honey is kept in a tank. The heating unit comprises a container (1) which is housed in a reservoir and a resistor. The resistor is provided for heating oil. An independent claim is included for a method for extraction of honey from honeycomb wax.
