The invention relates to a method of preparing a medicament for anti-tumour therapy involving neutrophils (neutrophil therapy). The main mechanism responsible for tumour growth is the diffusion of cells at the edge of the tumour until said cells reach a new position therein, which is different from the original position, in which there is a greater number of cells surrounding the aforementioned cell. In order to cancel out the aforementioned mechanism, it must be possible for a certain type of cell to occupy a position around the edge of the tumour and to try to penetrate the concavities in said edge before they are occupied by tumour cells. Said role is assigned to the immune response of the organism and, specifically, to neutrophils. The purpose of the invention is to use a recombinant human granulocyte colony-stimulating factor for the preparation of a medicament for anti-tumour therapy involving neutrophils.
