SYSTEM FOR CORRELATING RF USAGE IN A TRUNKED COMMUNICATION NETWORK

A system and method are disclosed for correlating rfcommunications in a multi-site, trunked rf communicationsystem which includes a plurality of site controllers forcontrolling radio unit rf communications in correspondinggeographical site areas and at least one multi-sitecoordinator for monitoring messages from each sitecontroller and establishing and removing rf communicationchannels. Information from the multi-site coordinatorincluding channel assignments and channel drops generatedfor each communication originated from or received by eachradio unit is obtained from the multi-site coordinator.RF communication resources used by each radio unit arethen correlated and used to generate bills detailing foreach radio unit specific instances and types of rfcommunication resources used.
