INTEGRATED POWER GENERATION PLANT AND GREENHOUSE

An integrated power generation plant and greenhouse comprisesa power generation plant having a thermal engine and an electricgenerator, and at least one greenhouse for growing plants such asfruits and vegetables by a photosynthesis process. The fuel forthe power generation plant may be a biomass fuel or a fossil fuel.Preferably, the power generation plant is a combined-cycleco-generation plant. Electricity, exhaust gases and steam aredistributed from the power generation plant to a plurality ofgreenhouses in a concentric, modular star or modular ringconfiguration. Oxygen is released to the atmosphere from thegreenhouse. Plants may be grown aeroponically or hydroponicallyin a dome-shaped greenhouse. This invention relates to a methodand system for integrating a power generation plant and agreenhouse, and the principal use of the invention is foroptimally growing plants in a greenhouse.
