STATIC DRILL-THROUGH MODELLING WITH GRAPHICAL INTERFACE

The invention, when incorporated in a drill-through modeling tool (DMT),allows all the elements affecting drill-through behavior to be aggregated at asingle point, thereby allowing administration to be simplified, and alsopermittingeasier understanding and integration with third-party tools. The inventionalsoprovides for graphical displays of drill-through paths for a DMT user ormodeller.These displays show the parameters and dependencies of each drill-throughpath and allow users to obtain a quick overview of the drill-through networkandfurther, they allow the tool user or modeller to confirm drill-throughdependenciesat a glance. Drill-through objects may thus be manipulated and maintained in agraphical manner.
