A method of producing and assembling a coolingdevice inside an axial-flow gas turbine blade; theairfoil profile of the blade has an inner surfacedefining a chamber, and is connected to a supportingstructure by two opposite end pins having respectiveopenings for the passage of cooling air and which comeout inside the chamber; the method provides for formingan insert having a number of holes and defined by a firstand at least a second body separate from each other, andeach of a size approximating but no larger than that ofat least one of the openings; the bodies are insertedsuccessively through the openings in the pins, and, arepositioned inside the chamber to direct a relative streamof air through each hole on to the inner surface of theairfoil profile.
