The present invention relates to the use of plant material as a molluscicidaland/or mollusc-repellant agent. The present invention also relates to amolluscicidal and/or mollusc-repellant preparation comprising plant material.The present invention also relates to a terrestrial molluscicidal and/ormollusc-repellant preparation comprising plant material and a particulate. Inpreferred embodiments, the plant material is derived from a plant in the plantfamily Caesalpiniaceae, Olaceae, Polygonaceae or Bursecaceae.
