摘要

Optical fiber core wire (1) comprising optical fiber open wire (2) and,sequentially provided on the circumference thereof, primary coating layer (3a)and secondary coating layer (3b) both constituted of a urethane baseultraviolet hardenable resin. The thicknesses of primary coating layer (3a)and secondary coating layer (3b) are in the range of 60 to 200 µm and 20 to300 µm, respectively. The pulling force for simultaneously removing theprimary coating layer (3a) and secondary coating layer (3b) is 100 gf or less.The tensile strength of primary coating layer (3a) is in the range of 0.5 to 1MPa. The swelling ratio of primary coating layer (3a) after immersion in asolvent is in the range of 5 to 150%. The Young~s modulus of secondary coatinglayer (3b) is in the range of 100 to 1500 MPa. This optical fiber core wireallows to have the coatings thereof removed without deterioration of thestrength or other properties of optical fiber open wire and can avoidremaining of coating waste on the surface of optical fiber open wire aftercoating removal operation.
