This invention refers to a chair that permits the execution of the 'Epley' maneuver by mechanical means, consisting of a chair base (1) with an axial bearing (2) to which the body of the vertical cylinder (3) is attached, a head rest (4), articulation (5) chair back (6), seat (7) and a leg rest (8), a vertical hydraulic cylinder (9), a shaft with a square section at the center and a circular section at both ends (10) welded to the top of the vertical cylinder (9) also including two bearings (11) and (12) and a hydraulic cylinder (13), and respective body (14), to enable the chair back to incline (6), a mechanism which allows the leg rest (8) to become horizontal when the chair back is placed horizontally, an axial bearing (2) which permits the chair to rotate, a motor which allows seat (7) to rotate laterally and a cylinder (9) which allows the chair seat (7) to move vertically, and a headrest (4) which rotates by means of articulation (5) in relation to chair back (6). This chair enables the mechanical execution of two of the most important of the three movements necessary for performing the maneuver for treating positional vertigo ('Epley maneuver'). For medical application.
