PERFECT AIRTIGHT-TYPE CAGE SYSTEM FOR PROTECTING TRANSITION OF PATHOGEN

PURPOSE: A completely sealed cage system is provided to prevent the transition of pathogen, to facilitate water and feed supply works, and to prevent contaminated air from being discharged from the interior of the cage as well as prevent exterior impurities from entering the cage. CONSTITUTION: The cage system comprises: a water vessel(120) consisting of a tank(123), a water discharge nozzle(125) operated by the suction of an experimental animal, a nozzle insertion through bore and a sealing cap; a feed vessel(130) having a plurality of feed discharge slots arranged at regular distances; a housing having a body and formed with a water vessel receiving recess(105) and a feed vessel receiving recess; a cover(108) for intercepting the entrance/exit of air through a receiving hole of the feed vessel; and clamps mounted at front and rear surfaces of the body for fastening the body to a cage cover(104).
