The invention relates to the electromagnetic treatment of hydrogen contained in the naturally humid combustion air and fuel in general, i.e. for all internal combustion engines and devices that are operated using atmospheric air and fossil fuel or automotive fuel and also hydrogen. The aim of the invention is to transfer energy to the hydrogen of the combustion air and the fuel, in such a way that said hydrogen and the products of its bonds with oxygen and carbon, i.e. water and hydrocarbon do not alter their states and to introduce the absorbed energy into the reaction during the course of the combustion process, in order to complete the combustion reaction. To achieve this, the radiant energy of a broad electromagnetic spectrum is transferred to the hydrogen nuclei by energy transfer in their magnetic spin moment in a three-dimensional manner, i.e. in resonance with the local magnetic energy of the hydrogen nuclei, over a period of time, in quantities of increasing amounts of energy and the energy absorbed in this manner is released into the combustion reaction by induced emission, when the media containing hydrogen are introduced. The energy of the variable frequency electromagnetic field that is emitted, as a result of the reaction, from the combustion chamber of the same internal combustion engine or device for which the air and fuel are intended, or the energy of an extraneous electromagnetic spectrum that is suitable for this process is transferred by one inventive device that is located in each media supply device.
