This invention opens a network safety certification method, first the media gateway controller (MGC) configures authentication key for media gateway (MG), and sets network protocol safety data packet; when taking the safety certification, MGC utilizes the safety data packet to send down the request data for safety certification, MG utilizes authentication key to take the calculation for the request data, and feeds back the result to MGC, MGC confirms whether or not the confirmed MG is legal; adopting the above statement scheme can prevent accessing from illegal and fake equipment; furthermore , the certification for MG is taken under MGC control , so it has higher efficiency for safety certification.
