The crop conveyor for a round baler comprises an overshot pick-up device (34) and an overshot screw conveyor (42) downstream from this. A crop lifting device with curved plates (62, 64) feeds crops to the screw trough (68) which is mounted outside its circle of rotation. An Independent claim is included for a round baler fitted with the crop conveyor.
