Use of at least one compound (I) selected from sugar phosphates, aminoacids and their derivatives for treating tumors and/or sepsis and/or for immunosuppression, by modulation of the association of the glycolysis enzyme complex M2-PK, inhibition of transaminases and/or breaking the binding of malate dehydrogenase to p36. ACTIVITY : Cytostatic; Antibacterial; Immunosuppressive; Antiinflammatory. Rats with implanted Novikoff hepatoma cells were continuously infused intravenously with aminooxoacetate (Ia) at a concentration of 1.25 mM for 10 days (starting at the point when the tumor volume reached 1 ml). In 7 out of 10 rats tumor growth was completely inhibited. MECHANISM OF ACTION : Glycolysis enzyme complex M2-PK association modulator; Transaminase inhibitor; Dissolution of binding of malate dehydrogenase to p36.
