A composition for use as a sanitary earthenware material, which comprises a coagulation of a powder of a raw material for the sanitary earthenware material and has a water content of 0 to 25 wt %, wherein the powder has a number-based 50 % average particle diameter of 1 to 15 μ m; a sanitary earthenware material slurry for use in a casting molding which is produced by adding water to the above composition, followed by agitating; and a method for manufacturing a sanitary earthenware using the composition. The composition for use as a sanitary earthenware material is excellent in long term storage stability, transportability and the capability of being re-converted to a slurry.
