The invention relates to an adjustable transfer unit which is used to transfer aligned, upright objects from a first conveyor to a second conveyor. The inventive unit consists of a rotating wheel (1) comprising radial blades (2, 3) and a curved support track (4) which is disposed between the delivery end (31) of an infeed conveyor (30) and the discharge end of an outfeed conveyor (40). The aforementioned infeed conveyor (30) is designed to transport the upright objects (B) which are resting on the base (B1) thereof on a surface (32) while the overhead outfeed conveyor (40) is used to transport suspended objects (B). Moreover, the support track (4) of the transfer unit is connected to vertical movement means (7, 8), such that the vertical distance between the support track (4) and support guides (42) of the outfeed conveyor (40) can be adapted to the objects (B) having the above-mentioned configuration (B2) at different heights.
