There is provided a method for a signal check analysis. When a (very small) sudden change is generated in a sequential numeric data f(t), the method automatically detects the signal and can determine its position and intensity. Furthermore, when a (very small) sudden change is generated in a plural change ratio of the data f(t), the method automatically detects the signal and can determine its rough position. There is also provided a structure simulation analysis method for sequential numeric data f(t). This object is achieved as follows. For input data 1 of the sequential numeric data f(t), the SPS data generation means (3) executes data processing for f(t) to generate new data SPS(t) of one-to-one correspondence with f(t). The SPS data adjusting means (5) executes adjustment of the SPS(t) in the data processing stage so as to generate an adjusted SPS(t). The SPS data generation means (3) again executes data processing to the data SPS(t) and the adjusted SPS(t) so as to generate an updated SPS(t). The SPS data processing means (4) executes a check analysis to the data SPS(t) and the updated SPS(t). The output B means (8) clearly displays the (very small) sudden change signal in the data f(t) in the SPS(t) chart giving an analysis result of the data processing stage and displays the position and intensity of the signal. The aforementioned means respectively execute a cyclic processing and a duplicate processing to the SPS(t) at the data processing stage.
