The drawing die (M) oscillates at its own ultrasound frequency, is held in a tool holder (2), and connected to exciters (4) transmitting ultrasonic oscillations. The tool holder has one or more fixed bearing elements (9) and the drawing die is pushed loosely over these. The bearing elements are fastened to a hollow cylinder (10) within the tool holder, and engage axially and radially with play, into apertures in the die.
