The device is a board wedged horizontally between two cross-direction boards and mounted on a king pin acting as a rotation shaft. In order to transmit push/pull forces, the device is joined by two bolts to the left and right end tubes of a wheelchair, load chair or shopping chair frame, the end tubes being used to restrict backwards tilting of the chair. The end of the board is provided with at least one wheel or roller which can be fixed in position, or rotated to the left or right through ca. 90 deg, or rotated through 360 deg. Two bores extending in the board length direction are located on the board central axis and used to receive the king pin.
