The national programs (P1-Pj) and local programs (R1-Rk) are received by a distribution point (DH1). The distribution points transmits the national program along with the local program, to broadband optical network terminations (B1-B2) after converting analog data of the programs into digital data. The user terminal connected to the terminations, delivers the programs selected based on frequency, to a user. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) data distribution network; and (2) distribution point.
