A liquid composition is described which can undergo radical polymerization into organic glass, comprising: 1) an allyl monomer or mixtures of two or more allyl monomers in an overall concentration ranging from 70 to 99% by weight with respect to the total weight of the mixture of components 1) and 2); 2) a vinyl ester in an overall concentration ranging from 1 to 30% by weight with respect to the total weight of the mixture of components 1) and 2); 3) a polymerization initiator or a mixture of two or more polymerization initiators belonging to the group of peroxides, in an overall concentration ranging from 0.05 to 0.15 moles per 1 kg of final composition.
