To install a trammel fishing net at the mounting bar (5) of a sewing machine, an added row of neighboring stitches (4a) forms the upper and lower edges of the trammel. The stitches are bonded to the inner net (1) between the stitches at the common edges (1a',2a,3a) by knots (7,8) on one hand, and by the stitches at the common upper and lower edges of the three nets (1,2,3) forming the trammel on the other hand.
