Gateway for linking contractors with the aim of facilitating agreements with said contractors, whereby the gateway comprises a search platform (12) and middleware (14) for linking the contractors. The search platform is a software agent platform of which the agents are associated respectively with at least a part of the contractors and to the users and allows users to input a formulated request and create an agreement between the user and one or more contractors or service providers who can fulfill the request. The invention also relates to a corresponding method.
