The invention relates to a method for arranging a telecommunication management network in a customer-specific manner, with a network manager (NEC) and a plurality of element managers (OMC) which communicate with each other by means of an OMC-NMC interface. In order to reduce the complexity of the implementation and administration of a customer-specific configuration of the OMC-NMC interface, the OMC-NMC interface is only implemented once, and the interface is configured by transmitting a customer-specific reference signal from the network manager (NMC) to the corresponding element manager (OMC) in such a way that only determined functionalities of the system can be used.
