SINGLE-COMPONENT DENTAL COMPOSITION FOR DESENSITISATION OF THE EXPOSED DENTIN

A dental composition for treatment of dentinal hypersensitivity. It comprises at least an insoluble micronised fluorine salt, with crystals size less than 5 microns, and at least a soluble potassium salt. This way, the effect of mechanical obliteration is carried out by the insoluble micronised fluorine salt that penetrates the tubular orifices, whereas the depolarising action of the nervous fibres is carried out by the soluble potassium salt.
