PURPOSE: A method for diagnosing Tx/Rx antennas by using the Tx power of a base station is provided to diagnose antennas by coupling the power returned when each of the couplers of the FEU of each sector couples Tx power, transmitting it to an RMS(Remote Manage System), calculating the ratio of the power outputted from the RMS to the returned power, and converting it into a VSWR. CONSTITUTION: Each of the couplers(30,40) of each sector FEU(190) couples returned power in coupling Tx power and transmits it to an RMS(1100). Each of the Tx power detectors(200-700) of the RMS(1100) checks the power of each FA/sector and transmits the value to a CPU(1000). An RF switch(800) switches the returned signals sent from the FEUs and appoints a sector to diagnose. A return loss detector(900) checks the output power of the RMS and transmits the value to the CPU(1000). The CPU(1000) calculates the ratio of the output power to the returned power and converts it into a VSWR.
