APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLING TRANSMISSION POWER OF HIGH SPEED SHARED CONTROL CHANNEL IN TIME DIVISION DUPLEXING CODE DIVISION MULTIPLE ACCESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM USING HIGH SPEED DOWNLINK PACKET ACCESS SCHEME AND METHOD THEREOF
PURPOSE: A method for controlling an HS-SCCH(High Speed-Shared Control Channel) transport power in a TDD(Time Division Duplexing) CDMA communication system by using an HSDPA(High Speed Downlink Packet Access) system and a method thereof are provided to control the transport power for the SCCH, and to use minimal transport resources, thereby enabling high speed transport power control and improving system performance. CONSTITUTION: A base station transmits an HS-SCCH to a specific UE(511). The UE receives the HS-SCCH(513), and decides whether a UE ID of the HS-SCCH is the same as a self UE ID(515). If so, the UE measures the HS-SCCH(517), and generates parameters for a measurement report(519), then selects parameters used for the substantial measurement report(521). The UE transmits the measurement report to the base station(523). The base station receives the HS-SCCH, and controls transport power of the HS-SCCH(525). The base station continuously controls the transport power of the HS-SCCH(527).
