PURPOSE: A plane lamp for a backlight of a high brightness LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) monitor and an inverter circuit for driving a cold cathode for advertisement are provided to simplify a structure of a whole inverter circuit. CONSTITUTION: A forward type transformer(202) has a first side and a second side formed of one winding wire respectively. The first side is connected with a power supply unit(204), and the second side is connected with a load unit(208). A transistor(Q1) controls a power volume provided to the transformer. A switching circuit(206) is connected with a gate terminal(G) of the transistor for inputting gate signals to the transistor. A resonance circuit initializes the transformer by restraining increase residual magnetic flux density by a capacitor formed between a drain terminal(D) and a source terminal(S) of the transistor and voltage resonance by inductance of the first side of the transformer. The resonance circuit provides sine waves to the load unit.
