PURPOSE: Provided is a manual or automatic setting jade mat, which senses when person sits on the mat or not and breaks a power when the person does not sit on the mat, and thus has improved convenience and lower power consumption. CONSTITUTION: The mat having sequentially laminated cushion material, water vein blocker, heating element, far-infrared radiator, and jade pieces, is characterized by comprising a user sensor(161) for sensing when the user sits on the mat or not; a mode selection switch(162), of which mode is set to automatic or manual mode by the user; a control signal input part(163), into which various control signals are input from the user, when the mode selection switch is set to manual mode; a microprocessor(164) which controls an operation of total system so as to automatically break a power when the user does not sit on the mat for a predetermined time, according to the signal input from the user sensor, the mode selection switch, and control signal input part; a timer(165) for providing a time signal to the microprocessor; and a power supply switching part(167) which provides various intensity of powers to the heating element, and prosecutes a heating/preheating/stop motion.
