2 MPEG 2 Real Video-On-Demand Service and Application Service System

PURPOSE: A system for an MPEG 2(Moving Picture Experts Group 2) real VOD(Video On Demand) service and an additional service is provided to reduce the cost for constructing an expensive network by using the existing infra, Internet, cable network, and wireless Internet. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of clients connect to a web site for being authenticated through Internet connection by using each personal computer, so that the clients use services provided from the web site such as reservation and requests for an event. All information requested and inputted by the clients are stored in and interwork with each client database, franchise database, movie database, advertisement database, event information database, and event object database. Confirmation messages related to reservation information of the clients are transmitted through the personal computer of the clients and wireless Internet. If the requests for the reservation are completed, the clients visit the corresponding franchise for receiving services.
