PURPOSE: A method for modulating OFDM multiple carrier of a digital broadcasting signal using a time domain synchronous OFDM receiver is provided to reduce an amount of calculation for OFDM multiple carrier modulation, reduce ripple phenomenon on both sides of a signal to be transmitted, and prevent jitter of a received signal. CONSTITUTION: A serial/parallel converter converts serial TS(Transport Stream) signals into parallel TS signals(S100). An orthogonal phase modulating unit modulates the parallel TS signals through orthogonal phase modulation(S120). An IFFT(Inverse Fast Fourier Transform) unit transforms the modulated parallel stream signals through inverse fast fourier transform for obtaining OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) multiple carrier modulated OFDM signals(S140). A parallel/serial converter converts the OFDM signals into serial signals(S160). A guard interval unit inserts a guard interval into the OFDM signals(S180). A PN(Pseudo Noise) insertion unit inserts pseudo noise sequence into the OFDM signals(S200). A shaping filter filters the OFDM signals based on a set roll off factor(S220). An RF(Radio Frequency) amplifying unit amplifies the high frequency OFDM signals(S240).
