PURPOSE: A lactic acid bacterium for increasing the weight of poultry and improving breeding environment condition, and a method for feeding a fodder to poultry are provided. The lactic acid bacterium has improved acid and bile juice tolerance because it is derived from the digestive organs of poultry. CONSTITUTION: An lactic acid bacterium, Lactobacillus reuteri avibro2(KFCC-11196) is provided, wherein Lactobacillus reuteri avibro2(KFCC-11196) has improved acid and bile juice tolerance because it is derived from the digestive organs of poultry, increases the weight of poultry, and decreases the amount of ammonia gas generated from the feces of poultry. A method for feeding a fodder to poultry comprises adding Lactobacillus reuteri avibro2(KFCC-11196) into the fodder in the concentration of 10,000 to 10,000,000 cfu/g.
