APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING MUSCULAR EXERCISE PRESCRIPTION BY PEAK POWER MEASUREMENT

PURPOSE: An apparatus for providing muscular exercise program by peak power measurement is provided to advise a customized program based on maximum strength by installing the apparatus on an exercise machine and measuring the maximum strength in a single motion. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for providing muscular exercise program by peak power measurement comprises a maximum strength measuring unit(11), a display(12), a PC(13), a monitor(14), a printer(15), a card(16), and a keyboard(17). The maximum strength measuring unit(11) is allocated at a plate of a strength exercise machine. The display(12) provides numerical result for the maximum strength measured by the maximum strength measuring unit(11). The PC(13) includes a software program for advising a strength exercise program for a subject user by calculating an optimal exercise weight and a repeating number based on the measured maximum strength, sex and skill of the subject user. The monitor(14) and the printer(15), respectively, displays and prints measurement result and the advised program. The card(16) provides an interface with the Internet for the PC(13). The keyboard(17) is an input unit.
