PURPOSE: A state management system in a mobile terminal and a data service method using the same are provided to catch the state information of a mobile terminal using only the signaling path of the mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: A state management system in a mobile terminal is composed of a plurality of mobile terminals(100), a plurality of base stations(200/1-200/n), a packet exchange(300), an information providing part(400), a gateway(500), and a data communication network(600). The information providing part(400), providing the location information and state information of each mobile terminal(100), contains a subscriber location register(410), an information providing server(420), and a radio communication database(430). If a mobile terminal(100) transmits a signaling path to the packet exchange(300) through a relevant base station(200/1), the signaling path is used in catching the state information of the mobile terminal(100). The state information of the mobile terminal, caught in the packet exchange(300) on the basis of the signaling path, is stored in the radio information database(430).
