A Portable Instrument for Measuring Electromagnetic Wave at Radio Frequency Band of Cellular Phone or PCS Phone

PURPOSE: A portable electromagnetic wave measuring apparatus for measuring an electromagnetic wave with the frequency band of a mobile phone is provided to exclude an unnecessary electromagnetic wave component irrespective of the use of the mobile phone among electromagnetic waves generated in a wide band, and accurately measure only an electromagnetic wave generated in the band used in the mobile phone. CONSTITUTION: An antenna unit(110) senses an electromagnetic wave signal generated in a mobile phone and receives the electromagnetic wave signal. A switching unit(120) selects whether the mobile phone for measuring an electromagnetic wave is a cellular phone or a PCS(Personal Communication Service) phone, and selects an electromagnetic wave measurement band. An electromagnetic wave detecting unit(130) has a cellular electromagnetic wave detecting unit(131) for detecting only an electromagnetic wave signal generated in the use band of the cellular phone by the selection of the switching unit(120) among the electromagnetic wave signals received through the antenna unit(110). The electromagnetic wave detecting unit(130) has a PCS electromagnetic wave detecting unit(132) for detecting only an electromagnetic wave signal generated in the use band of the PCS phone. An electromagnetic wave comparing unit(140) compares the strength of the electromagnetic wave signals detected through the electromagnetic wave detecting unit(130) with the strength of a plurality of reference electromagnetic wave signals, and grasps the strength of the detected electromagnetic wave signal. An electromagnetic wave display unit(160) displays the strength of the electromagnetic wave signal grasped by the electromagnetic wave comparing unit(140).
