PURPOSE: A drive shaft for pulling a four-wheel drive vehicle is provided to tow the four-wheel drive vehicle conveniently by forming the power control unit in the drive shaft connected with rear wheels from an engine and a transmission. CONSTITUTION: A drive shaft is composed of a front shaft(10) having an outer gear(11); a rear shaft containing the outer gear of the front shaft and rotating individually against the front shaft; and a power train/control unit(30) installed between the rear shaft and the outer gear of the front shaft, engaged with the outer gear of the front shaft in rotating the front shaft to transmit rotational force to the rear shaft, and spaced from the outer gear of the front shaft in rotating the rear shaft to shut off power to the front shaft. The four-wheel drive vehicle is pulled conveniently with the power train unit.
