INDUCTION SENSOR APPARATUS FOR CAR-TO-CAR SHORTAGE HANDS IMPACTING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An inductive sensor is provided to allow crash test to be performed even when the vehicle deviates from the inductive line by the change of intensity of electromagnetic field. CONSTITUTION: An inductive sensor comprises an inductive line(9) for forming an electromagnetic field(a); a sensor unit for sensing the electromagnetic field of the inductive line; and a driving unit for moving the sensor unit in the transverse direction of the inductive line when a motor vehicle(11) deviates from the inductive line by the change of intensity of electromagnetic field formed in the inductive line. The sensor unit includes first and second inductive sensors(13,15) arranged at left and right sides of the inductive line. The driving unit includes an inductive sensor jig(17) installed in the vehicle widthwise direction; a rack arranged to the inductive sensor jig such that the inductive sensor jig moves in left and right directions of the inductive line; a pinion gear coupled to the rack such that the rack moves in left and right directions of the inductive line; and a motor(23) for driving the pinion gear.
